Guest Post: Rayven Godchild/Angel Brown Two People Inside of Me

Two People Inside of Me

Okay, okay, okay. Go ahead. I know some of you went there. I don't blame you. If I saw the title, I'd have done the same thing :-)

Seriously, though, I really do have two different authors occupying my mind. As Angela Brown, I write picture books to new adult (NeverloveThey All Fall DownFrailties of the BondAtone). As Rayven Godchild, it's all about adult content.

I've been asked how I can handle it. I mean, writing as just one author and promoting and marketing and all the etc. that comes with it can be a challenge, especially with me being a single mother as well as maintaining a full time paying gig. I also try to pay it forward with writing buds by doing critiques and beta reading. Somewhere in there, I read a book every now and then and steal some sleep. I won't lie and say it's a piece of chocolate cake with rich, dark, chocolatey, decadence drizzled on top

What was I saying? Thinking of that cake made me nearly drool on my keyboard.

Oh yeah, managing my regular author name and a pen name takes a lot of organization. Post It Notes are my saving grace. I can tag those babies in front of me anywhere, providing a steady stream of pastel colored reminders of my weekly/monthly goals, tasks to accomplish for the day, and the weekend's grocery list. Oh, look, I need to add milk to that one.Confessions Round table FB cover

Today, it's all about Chancellor Baltimore, a geek turned sex fiend.

~ ~ ~ Meet Chancellor Baltimore. With a plan to become a mechanical engineer, he was well on his way until he discovered a new addiction that changed the course of his life. As you read this installment of Confessions of a Sex Fiend, you can decide if this change was for better or for worse. ~ ~ ~

This episode is all about firsts:

First base

First touch

First time

And we get to experience the drama of “firsts” from Chancellor’s point of view as he delivers a first of his own.

Let’s enjoy this tale of a sex fiend as Chancellor breaks the rule that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone. It’ll be our little secret…

About Rayven Godchild:

Rayven Godchild is an author of erotica/erotic romance short stories, novels and novellas. Her first published work appeared in a fit of obscurity during a tumultuous time in life. That story, Secret Lilies, will see the light of day again with a lot less stress and a lot more joy surrounding its republication in the very near future. Currently, the Confessions of a Sex Fiend short stories are working their way out into the world, with the first one, Tasting Cherry, as Rayven’s re-debut as an author. Be sure to look for more as the next short story, A VIEW TO ECSTASY, is due out soon.

  1. Thank you so much for having me here today :-)

  2. I think there's a sex fiend in all of us geeks.

  3. Two pen names is an excellent way to balance those widely different writing styles. :) Best of luck with your release!

  4. It's hard being two different writers at a time. Double the work. I admire you for all the work you're doing. I hope your book sells well.

  5. Post-It Notes, the ultimate in organizational tools. :) I've often wondered about how people keep their multiple author identities in check.

Have you written a bio for your alternate author name in your books? I know some people put a lot of distance between their names--different web sites, different contact addresses. I suppose it's important, but it seems like an awful lot of work.
