Background and updates

I just finished hole-punching the manuscript of In the Light of the Moon for Minion to do final edits on. After that I took some time to transfer characters from a binder to an ARC notebook for my new character bible. Seeing some old characters there made me remember how the Dark War Chronicles started. In the Light of the Moon is the first one in the series, but was not the first one written. The Edge of Darkness, which is from a Hunter's POV (you'll understand who they are later in the series) was the first one written. When I wrote it, I realized that there was so much more to the world I wasn't seeing and that it wasn't the starting point, but I didn't know where to start or what else there was. So I wrote the book after that The Taste of Blood and still felt like something was wrong and missing. So I put them aside and waited until I could figure out what it was. Then it struck me. The world really did have more too it and that is where In the Light of the Moon was born. I had to try my had at this series again and figure out where it was going.

It may not sound as epic to you guys as it was to me, but that's a little background on the series. Those two books need a lot of work so that they fit in flawlessly, but I remembered how much today that I love the characters in them. I hope you all find someone in the series to fall in love with and enjoy the world as much as I have.

That being said, let's move on to the next point of this over due blog, eh? So here are some updates for you:
