The stress of December

Holy cow, I did not realize how busy this month actually gets. Yes, there is Christmas, but I also have our daughter's birthday, my husband's birthday, and our anniversary. With this being the first year of throwing a birthday party, I spent most of last week getting the house ready, watching the extra kids and trying to get into the swing of things. I have an editing job I'm working on, a read through of someone else's novel and Midnight Symphony that I'm trying to work on. Throw Christmas and such in and I'm running around like a maniac!

I finally finished up Chapter One rewrites, and I'm hoping Chapter Two and Three follow quickly so I can get to editing the rest of the novella. (Luckily nothing else needs insane rewrites.) Once everything's done, it's back to the Betas. While that is with them, I will be hard at work with other projects. I'm really hoping to have this out to you guys before Feb 14th.

In other news, I've joined and editing group that was formed through Nanowrimo. I'm hoping that attending this group will help me gain new insight. Remember, you will never know everything there is to know about the writing world. I go in with an opened mind, heart, and willingness to improve myself and hope it goes over better than other groups I have tried to attend since moving down to the springs.

That's all I have to report, have a good week.
